Les Poderviansky’s stories are a true treasure. Some of them are a stake through the heart of patriarchal morality. Others are sharp satire. “In both painting and playwriting, I’ve always been interested in the junctions and clashes of things that don’t normally go together, in different textures: color – no color, glossy – matte, smooth – rough. When different textures meet, sparks fly,” said Les Poderviansky in one interview.
