On March 12, 2027, the MUR collective will stage powerful performance at the RAI Theatre, giving the voice to legendary figures of Ukraine’s fight for freedom, including Vasyl Stus, Alla Horska, Viacheslav Chornovil, Les Taniuk, and Leonid Kravchuk. Discover “REBELLIA [1991]” – the story of the restoration of independence, the struggle waged by generations of Ukrainians, and the responsibility we bear today.

“REBELLIA [1991]” takes the audience through the key moments that led to the restoration of Ukrainian independence: from the meetings of the Club of Creative Youth and the Sixtiers movement, the editorial office where Symonenko worked, through the tragic forests of Bykivnia, all the way to the Chornobyl disaster, the gatherings of the People’s Movement, the rallies, and the raising of the Ukrainian flag in the Verkhovna Rada. This musical is not merely a chronicle of the struggle, but the voice of a generation that did not renounce its ideals, stood its ground, and bequeathed the right to live in a free country.
